Hello Integral Lifers,

As many of you are aware, Ken created a new course earlier this year called The Superhuman Operating System (or ‘Superhuman OS’). It was produced and launched by Sacred Media.

During their February launch Integral Life received many emails, comments and questions wondering if this course was an Integral Life undertaking, and also what we thought of the offer.

While we were well aware of the Superhuman OS training, and had talked extensively with Ken and Sacred Media about it, we were very busy with our own Fourth Turning project and decided to wait until we had a chance to completely review the course before potentially recommending it to you.

We also know that, when Sacred Media rolled out the initial Superhuman marketing campaign several months ago, the language surrounding the program was criticized by some in the integral audience. We at Integral Life shared many of these same concerns, even though we knew that Ken’s actual material was as strong as ever and we understood that the Superhuman marketing was intended to help Ken's work reach a newer, wider, less “integral" audience.

We decided to wait until an approach could be crafted that would more appropriately engage the Integral audience. We know what it’s like to get excited about Ken’s new offerings, and how easy it can be for our enthusiasm to spill over into hype and hyperbole. We are much happier with how the folks at Sacred Media are now presenting this program.

The reason we are writing you now is that over the summer we had the chance to go through the actual training and take a much deeper dive into what was actually produced. Our conclusion is that what Ken has accomplished here with the Superhuman OS is a very powerful, potent and a highly compelling upgrade of the core framework of Integral, particularly because it is so practice-oriented. It includes many new elements and perspectives from Ken’s most recent work.

We asked Ken to record a message for the Integral Life community on why he decided to do the Superhuman OS training, and what people who already have a basic understanding of Ken’s work (like you) might get out of it. As you will hear, Ken took this opportunity to create this 10-week program not only to encapsulate his latest core teachings, but also to provide a series of exercises that people at a variety of stages of awareness can practice on a day-to-day basis. He also explains why he thinks Super Human is the correct name for this latest new upgrade of his Integral perspective.

The folks we talked to said the content was fresh, the format creatively unique, and that Ken was at his very best.
